Business Development Director - UK Board Level Appointment - Global FMCG Giant

MacGregor Black is currently working exclusively on a rare opportunity with a prestigious and well-respected global FMCG organisation, looking for a Business Development Director - UK & ROI Board Level Appointment.


This Business Development Director role will be responsible for developing and implementing an overarching company strategy that will deliver strong growth objectives over the next 3 - 5 years.


We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three years business unit head or strategy writing experience within a recognised FMCG supplier. Extensive P&L and team management exposure within a successful FMCG manufacturer is required in this role. Your ability to analyse the market and unlock growth across a range of customers and channels is essential.


What is expected of you:


* To write and deliver the commercial strategy and growth agenda for the UK & ROI Business Unit.
* Integrate and align the strategy across each of the various business functions to meet the long term business goals.
* Identify future growth opportunities within the category including FTM Innovations & M&A activities.


What are we looking for?


We are looking for a future Managing Director/General Manager with the ability to write a complex and pivotal growth plans for a large UK & ROI business unit. Experience of working for a major strategy house or writing commercial strategy for a recognised FMCG supplier will be required.
You will have excellent commercial acumen and be a dynamic professional who is both customer & people focused.
