MacGregor Black are working exclusively on a rare opportunity looking for a Commercial Director - UK ( 12 Month Fixed term Contract). The successful candidate will have the flexibility to operate across the Head Office (Home Counties) and UK wide production facilities.

This Commercial Director - UK ( 12 Month FTC) role will be responsible for leading the sales and customer marketing function for an instantly recognisable food supplier for a 12 month timeframe. Successful completion of this project may lead to further interim or permanent opportunities within the wider parent group.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three years business unit head or commercial director level experience within a recognised FMCG supplier. Extensive P&L and team management exposure within a successful FMCG manufacturer is required in this role. Your ability to analyse the market and unlock growth across a range of customers and channels is essential.

What is expected of you:

* Leading a team of 30 commercial colleagues you will deliver the customer agenda across all channels within the UK business unit.
* Integrate and align the strategy across a variety of business functions to meet the long term business goals.
* Identify future growth opportunities within the category including FTM Innovations & possible M&A activities.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a forward thinking interim Commercial Director to deliver complex and pivotal growth plans for a large UK business unit. Experience of leading a commercial function for a major branded food or drink brand is essential in this role. You will have excellent commercial acumen and be a dynamic professional who is both customer & people focused.
