MacGregor Black is currently supporting a fast-growing global sporting goods brand, on a search for a highly-motivated Customer Service Executive. This is a Full-Time permanent position, based in Reading.


The Customer Service Executive will support growth within the EMEA market, and will primarily focus on the expansion of UK and European business across wholesale and eCommerce channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry and placing with warehouse
  • Logistics Support/Co-ordination
  • Customer Support - Provision of Assets/Product Info/Product Queries/General Queries
  • Warranties/Returns - main point of contact and process execution
  • Support to Regional Sales Executives
  • 1st line end customer support - efficiently handling phone and web queries
  • Fraud prevention & identification checks
  • Managing web orders through from website through to warehouse
  • Processing of web returns - approving, tracking, liaising with warehouse and keeping customers up to date
  • Responding to online customer reviews /comments in a proper & timely manner
  • Inventory control support - handling stock adjustments and shortages
  • Reporting and insight gathering around customer service metrics


What are we looking for?

  • Highly motivated and passionate about sport
  • 1yr+ customer service experience (preferred)
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance sporting apparel or other technical products, with the ability to communicate detail clearly
  • Knowledge of using customer service / order management systems
  • Knowledge of other European languages (not essential)
  • Be highly attentive to detail
  • An undisputed team player
