MacGregor Black is currently working on an opportunity with an innovative and well-respected Food manufacturer, based in the North of England ( with remote working ), searching for a Head of Sales - Grocery Channel.
This Head of Sales - Grocery will be tasked with delivering the commercial strategy and being accountable for translation of sales targets into operational plans with the major grocery customer base.
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in branded foods and extensive experience of managing strategic relationships with Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose & Sainsburys.
What would be expected of you in this Head of Sales - Grocery role:
* Consolidation of strategic relationships with key customers
* Develop growth plans which include promotions and distribution targets & delivery plan
* Collaborate with Category Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain to ensure exceptional customer engement.
* Creating annual sales & margin account plans in line with companywide strategic goals
What are we looking for.
We are looking for an experienced account director or head of channel with significant experience with the major grocery retailers. You will have worked for a recognised food manufacturer in a people leadership capacity. You will have a strong commercial outlook and be a dynamic professional who is both customer & people focussed.
