With a focus on producing best in category quality chilled foods for its Retail Partners. Our client has built its success through developing products that are ahead of the innovation curve. They are a dynamic food processor, who offer their customers bespoke and flexible innovative food solutions that drive category growth. Focused predominantly on Own Label Retailer brands, that targets ethical and trend conscious consumers with best in category products.
As part of an on-going investment in growth and positive restructure of its commercial function, we have been asked to source a Senior National Account Manager who will work alongside the Account Director to drive customer strategy and development within its ASDA account portfolio.
We are looking for individuals who are results orientated, fast paced and capable of managing a category leading supplier status Retail accounts. The exact portfolio will be above £250m and we are keen to reiterate that we are not looking for just a safe pair of hands. The successful candidate will be an individual who challenges the status quo with ambition and a drive that is beyond the normal Account Manager.
Previous Chilled innovation driven food category experience is essential, as is working knowledge of specific customers in the Retail sector. This will ideally be coupled with exposure to the Meat, Chicken or Fish categories and a thorough understanding of the dovetail of Category Marketing and Innovation.
You will be comfortable working closely with Category Marketing and Development functions internally and externally and be held in high regard by customers. You should be enthused by the opportunity to work in a large ambitious business that will allow you to work with autonomy, a finished article as an account manager you will see this opportunity as a vehicle for self-advancement.
