Account Manager GTR

MacGregor Black are currently partnering with a Premium branded drinks company on the search for a Account Manager GTR. This is a permanent role in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, retail partners, and duty-free operators.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans, aligning goals and strategies to drive mutual growth and success.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to each airport location, aligning with overall brand objectives and market dynamics.
- Implement sales and promotional initiatives to maximize brand visibility, increase product penetration, and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyse sales data to assess performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Product Presentation and Merchandising:
- Oversee the design and implementation of visually appealing product displays and promotional setups in airport retail spaces.
- Ensure consistent and premium brand presentation across all touchpoints, enhancing the overall shopping experience for travelers.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to create captivating displays that engage and entice customers.
- Market Analysis and Insights:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences within the spirits and travel retail sectors.
- Provide regular market insights and recommendations to guide product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and initiatives.
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, and events in collaboration with relevant teams to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the spirits industry or travel retail sector.
- Strong understanding of airport operations, travel retail dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for visual merchandising and brand presentation.
- Flexibility to travel between airport locations within London as needed.
- Passion for premium spirits products and a genuine interest in the travel retail industry.
