Macgregor Black is currently partnering with a Premium Housewares Business on the search for a new Brand Manager. This is a permanent role, based in Cambridge.
As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving the premium positioning and growth across four brands in the portfolio. You will develop the online and offline strategy, including content, digital campaigns, and PR relations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop powerful strategies and commercial tactics to drive Brand performance, linked to defined KPI’s and annual plan.
  • Execute the annual marketing trade plan for the Brand
  • Manage the day-to-day relation with the different Brand teams, influencing and giving clear direction and feedback of NPD pipeline and marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver flawless execution in NPD launches, at both trade and consumer level.
  • Create and monitor a national product promotional plan for all retailers and channels, to drive growth at key selling periods and maximise sell-out.
  • Manage and develop a PR annual plan including traditional PR (press-releases, awards, competitions, etc.), influencers and social community management on major platforms.
  • Develop and present annual and quarterly commercial Brand reviews.
  • Work closely with Sales, Demand Planning and Operations to make sure forecast and stock management targets are met.
  • Manage Brand budget on a monthly basis.

What are we looking for?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is desirable (or have gained a similar learning and development whilst working in a similar role).
  • Driven and passionate brand advocate capable of connecting with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Commercially astute and P&L/ budgeting experience.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Channel management experience and working with major online retailers.
  • Experience working within a premium consumer product, highly desirable.
