Macgregor Black are currently in partnership with a premium spirits company on the search for a Business Development Manager. This is a permanent- hybrid role for a candidate based in the West Country.
As a Business Development Manager you will be the face of the brand to key customers within the on trade and wholesale using your knowledge and experience to help the company expand.

Key Outcomes & Accountabilities:

  •  Working with and building relationships with local hospitality, On- trade and wholesale outlets. 
  • Developing and implementing sales plans that identify key opportunities. 
  • Spending days in trade.
  • Grow and manage the number of customer accounts and create new listings.
  • Track and monitor account performance producing comprehensive reports that detail Key Performance Indicators, Order, Forecasts, Spend.
  • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to establish new markets.
  • Provide feedback and insight from customers that ensure successful and profitable development of new product and brands within the portfolio.
  • Servicing accounts with regular calls and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Increasing cocktail distribution within each account wherever feasible.
  • Providing regular staff training and brand support, where applicable, to individual accounts.
  • Attend trade shows to showcase product and meet potential customers. 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Solid experience in the drinks industry 
  • Demonstrable experience of negotiating and closing sales agreements.
  • Excellent customer service and account management 
  • The confidence and ability to present the product to Directors of premium venues
  • Full Driving License
