MacGregor Black are working with a Leading Food Manufacturer on the search for a Buyer – Facilities Management. This is permanent role based in UK.

As the Buyer – Facilities Management, you will be driving the management of the group facilities management with a spend €30m+. You will be responsible for owning and executing the strategic sourcing plans aligned to business needs and objectives. This involves managing and developing a network of supplier relationships that deliver value across quality, service, innovation, cost and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our Supply Units with the appropriate support across their FM expenditure, this is a mixture of tactical and strategic support.
  • Identifying opportunities at a local, regional and group level and developing a sourcing plan to execute and deliver the value.
  • Provide and demonstrate high level Procurement and technical category expertise
  • Share best practice across sites to standardise our ways of working and our supplier base where possible.
  • Ensure adherence to Procurement processes & reporting requirements.
  • Develop and manages savings delivery plans and risk mitigation plans, by driving implementation to deliver benefits on-time & in-full.
  • Development of KPI’s and management of key suppliers in this area.
  • Responsible for negotiating Group contracts with suppliers in line with the Indirects procurement policy.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree level or equivalent experience in a similar role. (CIPS desirable).
  • Previous experience in managing multi-site facilities management contracts with an in-depth knowledge of the FM market structures and supply base.
  • European experience in sourcing and managing FM.
  • Proven delivery in SRM with tangible benefits in quality, service, innovation, and cost savings.
  • Ability to influence internally and externally.
  • Understands cost drivers in markets.
  • Manages available resources to deliver against savings plans.
