MacGregor Black is excited to collaborate with a Leading FMCG business in the search for a Financial Planning & Analysis specialist. This permanent role is based near Bradford and presents a unique chance to lead and shape the financial strategy of a prominent organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

• Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
• Analyse financial data, trends, and key performance indicators to provide insights for decision-making.
• Work closely with department heads to understand and validate budget assumptions.

Forecasting and Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor and analyse variances between actual results and forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations.

Financial Modelling:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of different business strategies.

Analysis and Insights:

• Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

What are we looking for?

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified, or equivalent.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modelling is essential.
