Macgregor Black are partnering with an industry leading consumer business, on the search for a International Marketing Manager. This is a hybrid role based in London.


As International Marketing Manager, you will be the expert across shopper insight, sales and promotions analysis to support and drive profit via added value retail partnerships.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and execute local market brand building initiatives in line with global strategy, with a focus on education and creating a customer community.
  • Develop local trade marketing resources based on global guidelines and assets to support major retailer/distributor sell-in and monthly updates to ensure the brands presence at key EMEA trave events and in major trade publications.
  • Strategy, creative briefing/development and execution in partnership with major retailers and distributors of sales collateral, instore POS resources and online digital assets and content.
  • Support retailer and distributor sales training as required.
  • Act as key relationship holder for ongoing marketing support with major customers including quarterly brand updates and marketing calendar planning, sourcing and developing relationships with local brand and agency partners.
  • Ownership of UK and German marketing calendar with month-on-month planning across all sales channels.
  • Responsible for trade and marketing budget spend across UK and Germany.
  • Continually capture insights on end consumer preferences and competitor activity through close local market monitoring on key channels.


What are we looking for?

  • 3+years’ experience in a similar role within consumer products within and omnichannel business.
  • Experience working within a scale up environment, promoting brand awareness.
  • 3+years’ experience managing trade marketing accounts in UK/Europe.
  • Basic creative design/copy writing capabilities preferred.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills with a passion for delivering the best outcome for the end consumer.
  • Clear communication skills in the identification and communication of data & consumer led opportunities across different markets/channels, ability to present and influence action.
  • Ability to break down commercial goals into actionable targets, execute on the plan and manage interdependencies with other stakeholders.
  • Action orientated and solutions focused, results driven.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment and a strong team player.
  • Strong attention to detail, happy to ‘get your hands dirty’ and a strong determination to find solutions.
  • Proficiency in German language would be hugely beneficial.
