MacGregor Black are currently partnering with a Premium branded drinks company on the search for a Key Account Director- International Travel Retail. This is a permanent remote based role.

 

As the Key Account Director, you will join our team and take responsibility for managing and developing our relationship with our international travel retail customers. This is a remote-based role, so you’ll need to be comfortable working from home and can travel internationally as required.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within the international travel retail sector and be able to demonstrate their ability to manage large, complex accounts. You’ll need to be commercially astute, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop and deliver customer-focused business.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Managing and developing our relationship with international travel retail customers, including building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth
  • Developing and delivering customer-focused business plans that deliver against targets and drive profitability.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the international travel retail sector, including developing new product lines and promotional activity
  • Managing and negotiating contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring that they are commercially viable and profitable.
  • Leading and motivating a team of account managers, ensuring that they have the skills and support they need to deliver against targets and objectives.
  • Representing our company within the international travel retail sector, ensuring that their needs and requirements are understood and reflected in our overall strategy.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Proven experience within the international travel retail sector, ideally within an account management or business development role
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large, complex accounts and delivering against targets and objectives.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and deliver customer-focused business plans.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Based in the UK, with the ability to travel internationally as required.
