Key Account Manager

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Sports brand, on the search for an Key Account Manager This is a permanent role based in Germany.

As Key Account Manager you will Secure and expand profitable, sustainable growth of market shares, sales, brand presentation and activation of the relevant group brands within local Key accounts.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage profitable and sustainable growth of market shares, net sales and visibility of the group brands among defined customers, considering the group’s goals and strategy
  • Establish and maintain professional and personal relationships with the important decision-makers of the defined accounts
  • Execute sell-in and seasonal replenishment for all assigned customers
  • Deliver net sales target through orderbook conversion, sell through monitoring & replenishment optimization
  • Monitor market trends, analyze customer needs and their performance indicators, develop and implement measures to sustainably increase group sales and market shares among assigned customers
  • Develop and implement 3-years-strategic-plan in close cooperation with the responsible Country Manager
  • Build and execute a dedicated Go-To-Market process, including sell-in & sell-out milestones
  • Drive trade terms negotiations, following the guidelines, to deliver both top and bottom line targets
  • Plan, prepare and execute a seasonal activation plan in close cooperation with Trade Marketing to continuously increase sales of group products at the customer
  • Provide sales reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and monthly forecasting to ensure financial accuracy and to secure supply planning
  • Coordinate all relevant internal departments to ensure a best in class service level
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Global & EEMEA Marketing, Product Management, S&OP, Customer Service, Finance & Credit Management, counterparts in countries

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor degree in Business administration or a related field preferred
  • +5 years experience in Sales working with multiple accounts, ideally in the sporting goods industry
  • Excellent business acumen, numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent in building relationships and communication
  • Fluent in German and English both verbally and written
  • Experience with MS Office and sales industry software
