MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a globally recognised Game manufacturer, on the search for a National Account Manager. This is a permanent role, with hybrid working opportunities, based in Surrey.

As National Account Manager you will be instrumental in driving the future growth and achieving ambitious sales plans. You will execute a pivotal role in the business with passion and drive for National sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on National Account Management with existing B2B customers including High Street and online accounts
  • Win new listings and meet UK sales targets, KPIs and P&L responsibilities
  • Identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities; working closely with Business Development Manager to open new FMCG and Key accounts in target areas such as Grocery, Toy Specialist, Gift specialist and/ or Department Stores
  • Analysing data and market trends to build a strategic sales plan for the UK and accountable for setting sales budgets
  • Oversee 2 Sales Agents and 1 Regional Manager for UK territory to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to plan and execute B2B Marketing campaigns
  • Autonomous responsibility for forecasting & sales planning across UK B2B channels
  • Continuously seeking out new opportunities to grow the business and expand market presence.
  • Overseeing the B2B portal and liaising with IT Manager and customers to gain traction

What are we looking for?
 

  • Proven track record of Account Management experience preferably within the Toy or Gift Industry
  • Experience and confidence presenting and selling to key buyers in the UK market
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong record of building partnerships, with a proven ability to define mutually beneficial value propositions.
  • Ability to sell to new clients with a growth mentality
  • A strong networker, with the ability to influence individuals of all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Determined and tenacious, persistent and goal driven.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast paced environment.
