MacGregor Black are currently partnering with a Premium branded drinks company on the search for a Sales support specialist. This is a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Administration:
- Assist the Global Travel Retail Sales team in managing and maintaining accurate sales records, reports, and databases.
- Generate and analyse sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Process sales orders, track shipments, and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery to travel retail locations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage invoicing and payment reconciliation.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional support to travel retail partners, addressing inquiries, order status, and product information promptly and professionally.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication between internal departments and travel retail partners.
- Assist in organizing and attending meetings with travel retail clients to gather feedback, share product updates, and strengthen relationships.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and consumer preferences within the global travel retail industry.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team based on market analysis, helping to drive strategic decision-making.
- Product Knowledge and Training:
- Develop a deep understanding of our premium product portfolio, including features, benefits, and unique selling points.
- Assist in training travel retail staff on product knowledge, enhancing their ability to effectively promote and sell our products.
- Event and Promotion Support:
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to coordinate travel retail events, promotions, and activation.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of marketing materials, product displays, and promotional collateral for travel retail locations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within the travel retail or luxury goods industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for the travel retail industry and a genuine interest in premium beverages.
