MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a Global FMCG business in their search for a Senior Finance Manager. This is a permanent position based in Bradford.
As the Senior Finance Manager you will lead and oversee a busy finance team while collaborating closely with cross-functional departments. You’ll be the financial backbone of the manufacturing division, contributing to strategic decision-making, optimising operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the manufacturing division.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, to drive insights and enhance operational performance.
- Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation across manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with operations teams to align financial strategies with production goals and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
What we are looking for?
- CIMA qualification or equivalent
- Strong background in manufacturing finance.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of providing constructive challenges to improve processes and outcomes.
