Macgregor Black is currently working with an eco-friendly, baby essentials brand, on the search for an experience Senior National Account Manager to focus on growing their business across France. This is a permanent role with hybrid working, based in Leicester.

As the Senior National Account Manager, you will report into the Head of International Sales and lead with developing the French market covering both new and existing business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales ahead of the category and hit the ambitious revenue targets/budget, by executing a winning country level strategy
  • Execute strategic account specific plans to consistently unlock market beating growth
  • Take the lead on maintaining an accurate forward forecast with a bias no greater than +/ 15% and proactively manage the monthly target/forecast number
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Buyers and key touchpoints in the major target retailers, continuously explore and identify opportunities for the brand whilst delivering maximum margin and adhering to brand purpose and strategy
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally (mainly with Marketing) to increase ROS, utilising trade marketing opportunities
  • Negotiation and lead in the implementation of significant growth in brand presence and distribution instore/online (> our market share), driving sales with the best SKU and assortment in line with the range hierarchy and landing strong space for New Product Development launches
  • Implement best in class commercial processes and systems
  • Keep up to date on market development within the relevant retail channels and the wider baby category

What are we looking for?

  • Educated to degree level and/or demonstrates good relevant industry experience in a similar role
  • Fluent French and English Speaker
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial success of helping to achieve growth
  • FMCG or Consumer Goods experience of working with major French retailers
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and ensure that the opportunities are delivered in line with budget
  • Organised approach: can set their own priorities, work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Solution focused approach
  • Highlymotivated and driven by making a positive and material difference, and have an inherent passion for stand-out business growth and relish the challenge of ambitious growth targets
  • Ambitious and able to demonstrate clear progression within your career to date
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced excel skills
