MacGregor Black is currently partnering with Global health and beauty business, on the search for Trade Marketing Manager. This is a permanent role based in the London.
As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be working closely with the heads of brand and the commercial team to create, develop and analyse specific retailer plans. Reporting into the commercial Director, you will be a key member of the team.
- Developing Trade Marketing Strategies: You will be responsible for creating and implementing trade marketing strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Building Strong Relationships with Retailers: You will work closely with retailers in the UK and US to develop collaborative partnerships.
- Assessing and Reporting on ROI: You will be responsible for evaluating the return on investment (ROI) of trade marketing activities and reporting the results to key stakeholders. This helps in determining the effectiveness of different marketing initiatives and making data-driven decisions for future campaigns.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: It is essential to stay informed about the latest industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. This includes attending trade shows, conferences, and industry events, as well as conducting regular research to ensure that the company remains competitive in the market.
- Creating Promotional Campaigns: You will oversee designing and executing promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand visibility.
- Conducting Market Analysis: It is your responsibility to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitoring Sales Performance: You will be responsible for monitoring sales performance and conducting regular analysis of sales data.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with various departments within the beauty company, including marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain. This involves working closely with these teams to align strategies, share market insights, and ensure the smooth execution of trade marketing initiatives.

- Beauty Expertise is desirable – ideally in luxury.
- Experience with QVC and/or HSN desirable.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritising time and attention to deliver solid results in challenging timelines.
- 5 year’s experience.
- Makeup experience is a MUST.
- Team player and team leader.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Insightful – able to identify opportunities.
- Flexible, fluid approach able to react to change positively.
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
